Six motorists receive licence suspensions

Greater Sudbury Police conducted spot checks throughout the city overnight, testing 441 drivers for sobriety. As a result, five people have received 12-hour drivers licence suspensions and had their vehicles towed.

As a result, five people have received 12-hour drivers licence suspensions and had their vehicles towed. One person was hit with a 90-day suspension after being stopped by police and blowing over thelegal limit.

Another eight drivers received offence notices for various Highway Traffic Act charges.

Police say spot checks will continue throughout the holiday season.
