After an overnight robbery in the South End, Greater Sudbury Police are asking people who live in the area to check their vehicles, sheds and garages for anything missing or damaged and report it to police (Supplied).

After an overnight robbery in the South End, Greater Sudbury Police are asking people who live in the area to check their vehicles, sheds and garages for anything missing or damaged and report it to police.   

Suspects attempted to break into a garage, and ran from the scene, police reported on their Twitter account at around 4 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said they were in the Mallard's Landing/Regent Street South area, and were looking for two men in their 20s with backpacks, who ran north. One suspect was taller, at around 6-1, and wearing a light-coloured toque.

No further information was provided by police.
