Greater Sudbury Police, Sudbury Fire Services and Greater Sudbury Hydro are responding to a motor vehicle collision on Paris Street between Maki Avenue and Rumball Terrace Road.
A vehicle struck a lamp post and the pole and wires are down at the scene.
Both lanes on Paris Street heading towards Long Long Lake Road are blocked at this time.
Police are asking that motorists find an alternate route.
