On July 22, a 36-year-old man from St. Charles was charged for sexually assaulting a young person.
Members of the Nipissing West OPP Detachment with the assistance of the Sudbury OPP Crime Unit responded to a report of a sexual assault of a young person on July 22.
As a result of a police investigation, a 36-year-old man from St. Charles has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Sexual Assault
- Sexual Interference
The accused was released on a promise to appear and undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury on Sept. 4.
The accused's name has been withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
