Greater Sudbury Police Service executed a search warrant at a Sudbury area residence after receiving information from International law enforcement officials and officers of the Ontario Provincial Police Project P Branch.
A 37-year-old male was arrested and his computer, discs and data storage devices seized.
The Greater Sudbury Police Service Cyber Crime Unit had been investigating the man for online child exploitation.
He has been charged with the following offences:
- Distributing child pornography
- Manufacturing child pornography
- Sexual assault
- Invitation to sexual touching
- Sexual exploitation
