A 35-year-old Sudbury woman is facing fraud charges after obtaining a $150,000 mortgage by issuing false documentation, which the mortgage broker believed to be authentic.

A 35-year-old Sudbury woman is facing fraud charges after obtaining a $150,000 mortgage by issuing false documentation, which the mortgage broker believed to be authentic.

The arrest came following a three-month investigation by the Greater Sudbury Police Fraud Unit.

The Bancroft Dr. resident is charged with fraud over $5,000, three counts of uttering a forged document and one count of breach of probation.
