Greater Sudbury Police Service say a suspect is still at large after two stolen vehicles ended up in snowbanks on Lasalle Blvd this morning.

At around 7 a.m. on Jan. 24, GSPS received a call regarding a vehicle stolen from the owner's driveway.

"The suspect drove away with their vehicle then subsequently had a collision on Lasalle Blvd in front of CAS," GSPS said in a tweet.

"Upon discovering their vehicle had been stolen, the complainants went looking for it."

"Upon discovering their vehicle and having contact with the suspect, the suspect managed to steal a second vehicle."

After stealing the second vehicle, the suspect subsequently crashed into another snowbank - this time in front of the Lasalle Dental Clinic at the corner of Arthur Street.
