Taxi drivers charged

During an annual road safety blitz, vehicles were stopped on successive days in late May and individuals from four taxi companies were charged by Greater Sudbury Police.

During an annual road safety blitz, vehicles were stopped on successive days in late May and individuals from four taxi companies were charged by Greater Sudbury Police.

Sixteen individuals from the four different cab companies were charged with operating unsafe vehicles.

During the traffic blitz the Traffic Management Unit of Sudbury Police worked with the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Environment and the Canadian Automobile Association.
