Greater Sudbury Police have charged a teen they believe is responsible for breaking into vehicles and stealing items from them.
At around 6 a.m. Monday Nov. 28, police were dispatched to a complaint of a male breaking into unlocked vehicles on Lamothe and Lasalle streets in New Sudbury.
Officers arrested a 17-year-old boy and charged him with theft, possession of stolen property, trespass at night, weapons dangerous and breach of probation.
He had a backpack filled with a large amount of property police believe he took from vehicles he broke into overnight.
Police ask the public to check their vehicles and report any missing items.
