During September, Greater Sudbury Police received more than 40 theft complaints in the Gatchell and Donovan areas of the city. Most of the thefts were occurring overnight and from vehicles.
There have also been over a dozen theft complaints involving vehicles in the Spruce Street, White Street, Adie Street and D?Youville Street area of town. Windows are being smashed and thieves are taking things like wallets, loose change and electronic equipment.
