Nobody was injured after residents on Countryside Dr. encountered a masked intruder armed with a knife inside their house July 20 at 1:10 am.
The intruder fled the scene and the victims called police. They responded with the canine unit and successfully tracked down and arrested a suspect in the bush.
A 19-year-old Toronto man of no fixed address has been charged
with break and enter, possession of a dangerous weapon, disguise
with intent and two counts of breach of recognizance.
All stolen property was recovered.
