Two men were stopped for highway traffic act offenses in the early morning hours of Oct. 27 by Greater Sudbury police, but the stop lead to more than just traffic-related fines.
After pulling over the vehicle, the officers found about $3,000 worth of marijuana and prescription drugs to be in the men's possession.
Both men were charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance for trafficking, and the driver was also charged with using an unauthorized plate, operating a vehicle with no insurance, and driving while suspended.
