Two men were arrested and charged with offenses related to drug trafficking and firearm possession.
Greater Sudbury Police stopped a suspicious vehicle in the west end of the city at 6:30 am on Sept. 30. As a result of the vehicle stop, information received and the investigation two arrests were made. The arrests were made in relation to drug trafficking and illegal possession of firearms and other weapons.
Charged is 40 year old Joseph Brossoit. The charges include:
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking
• Carrying a concealed weapon contrary.
• Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
• Obstruct police and resist arrest.
• Unauthorized possession of a weapon
Also charged is 41 year old Kevin Schickerowski. The charges include
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking
• Carrying a concealed weapon
• Unauthorized possession of a firearm.
• Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
• Possession of a firearm while prohibited
