Two injured in Azilda collision

Greater Sudbury Police are investigating a vehicle collision on Municipal Road 35 in Azilda involving a car and a mini-van where a man and a woman were injured. According to Sgt.

Greater Sudbury Police are investigating a vehicle collision on Municipal Road 35 in Azilda involving a car and a mini-van where a man and a woman were injured.

According to Sgt. Wayne Foster of the Greater Sudbury Police Services, two people involved in the crash have sustained injuries. The collision took place before 8:30 this morning, between Montee Principale and Montee Marier.

A woman was admitted to hospital following the crash suffering bruises and cuts. She has also been charged with failing to drive in the marked lane. The other driver was trapped inside his car for some time although he was eventually freed and brought to hospital and has a broken leg.

Municipal Road 35 was closed for a few hours today but has since been re-opened.
