Road conditions continue to deteriorate, warns Greater Sudbury Police, as they are en route to a collision on MR 55 in Lively.

MR 55 at Black Lake Road in Lively is now fully reopened after a collision earlier this morning.

Greater Sudbury Police issued the following warning to motorists.

"A reminder to please slow down. Plan ahead. Give yourself some extra time to get where you are going. Leave additional room between you and other vehicles on our roadways."

Police, Fire and EMS are en route to collision on MR 55 at Black Lake Road in Lively.

The collision happened at the main lights heading into Lively, said police in a Tweet. The extent of the injuries is unknown.

Motorists may experience delays in area. 

Please drive with caution in the area while emergency crews respond. 

“Slow down,” Police tweeted earlier this morning. “Roads are snow covered and icy. Visibility is poor. Give yourself extra time to get where you're going. Please don't call 911 about plowing/sanding. City crews are out working throughout the city to clear roadways. If there is an area that requires immediate attention, call 311.”
