Vandalism suspects arrested

Two parties have been arrested in relation to a rash of vandalism that occurred on Kingsway, Lasalle Blvd. and Barrydowne Rd. in Greater Sudbury.

Two parties have been arrested in relation to a rash of vandalism that occurred on Kingsway, Lasalle Blvd. and Barrydowne Rd. in Greater Sudbury. 

John “Ryan” YEADON (20 years) and Stefan ROCCA (18 years) both of Sudbury have been arrested by the Greater Sudbury Police and charged with a total of 56 counts of mischief under $5000.00 after an investigation revealed that the two parties went on a graffiti spree in New Sudbury during the early hours of April 18, 2007.

The two males spray painted the words “ARE” and “CASK” on numerous local businesses causing damage estimated to be in excess of $50,000.

The investigation further revealed that these two parties are responsible for a substantial amount of graffiti seen throughout our city over the past two years, including the tag names of “BIMO” and “SNAP”.
