Wanted: Northern Ontario sex offender on the run

Daniel Sanche could be in Western Canada

The OPP is requesting the public's assistance in locating a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for failing to comply with a recognizance.

Daniel Sanche is described as a heavy-set white male, 35 years of age, 5-11, 224 lbs. He has long, straight dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black sweatpants with red stripe and a grey muscle shirt.

He has numerous tattoos including a Tazmanian Devil on this left forearm and an eagle surrounded by flames on his right forearm.

He was released on a recognizance Jan. 9, 2017, with various conditions, one of which was to reside at a specific court identified location in Kenora. On May 25, 2017, he failed to return for his curfew and he has not been seen since.

On June 5, 2017 the accused failed to attend Dryden Criminal Court as required with respect to a number of sex-related charges. After failing to appear in court, the accused now faces additional Criminal Code charge: Fail to Comply contrary to section 145(3) and Fail to Appear contrary to section 145(5).

The offender is believed to be in Western Canada at this time.
