Adanac Ski Hill will open Saturday for the 2007 season though skiing and snowboarding will initially be limited to the main face of the hill and the beginner slope.

The city says additional runs will open when sufficient amounts of snow, either artificial or natural, are available.

Capreol and Lively ski hills are not yet open for the season. They will open as soon as there is sufficient natural snow to cover the slopes.

Because of the late start to the season, Adanac season passes may still be purchased at discounted rates that were originally offered only before Christmas Eve.

Hours of operation for the 2007 season are:

- Mondays and Tuesdays: Closed

- Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: 10 am to 4 pm and 6 pm to 9:30 pm

- Saturdays and Sundays: 9 am to 4 pm

Operating hours are dependent on weather conditions and may change without notice.

Adanac Ski Hill is located at 744 Beatrice Cres. in Sudbury. For more information phone 566-9911 or visit www.greatersudbury.ca/ski.
