Sudbury and area boxers returned home laden with medals from the Ontario National Training Centre Top Glove event in St. Catharines last week.
Gold medal winners included Tina Montpellier in the 81 kg light heavyweight novice division; Kyle Gauthier in the 91 + kg super heavyweight senior open division; Justin Lalonde in the 91 + kg super heavyweight novice division; Michele Farrel in the 67 kg welterweight novice division, and Amber Konokow in the 71 kg light middleweight division.
Silver medalists include middleweight Eric Perrier, featherweight Maureen Wilson, flyweight Justin Ceskauskas, and ightweight Matt Sheppard.
