Brian Savage Classic raises $94K

The Brian Savage Mulligans for NEO Kids Golf Classic on July 25 raised more than $94,000 to support the North Eastern Ontario Health Centre for Kids.

The Brian Savage Mulligans for NEO Kids Golf Classic on July 25 raised more than $94,000 to support the North Eastern Ontario Health Centre for Kids.

“We are very excited that the Brian Savage Mulligans for NEO Kids Golf Classic was such a huge success,” said Mary Lou Hussak, executive director of Health Sciences North Foundation, in a release. “The amount of support and encouragement from our community was astonishing and thank everyone who was involved in this success.”

Savage, a former NHL player, and honorary chair of the Brian Savage Mulligans for NEO Kids Golf Classic, said he was honoured to lend his name to the tournament.

“My family and I are already looking forward to next year,” Savage said in a release.

The North Eastern Ontario Health Centre for Kids will offer outpatient treatment programs that will provide children, youth and their families the benefit of expert health care within the Sudbury region.
