The Sudbury Wolves have announced Jeff Brown as this year's inductee into the Wolves' Wall of Fame.

The Sudbury Wolves have announced Jeff Brown as this year's inductee into the Wolves' Wall of Fame.

Brown, a native of Ottawa, was drafted second overall by the Wolves and played four seasons in Sudbury, where the defenceman scored 64 goals and 237 points in 234 career games. Brown was named the OHL's top defenceman in 1986 and was awarded the Max Kaminsky Award.

The 39-year-old is currently the head coach of the Missouri River Otters of the United Hockey League, and resides in St. Louis.

Brown's likeness will be created on a canvas by local artist Adam Bonczak, and will be displayed along the upper walkway at the Sudbury Arena.

Brown is the 15th player to be inducted into the Wall of Fame.
