Cadets competing in British Columbia

Their skill and poise has led them to face the best in Canada. Five local biathlon athletes qualified for the National Cadet Biathlon Championships, and are currently testing their mettle in Comox, B.C. The championships run from March 5 to 12.

The championships run from March 5 to 12.

Brad Sutinen, Kyle Bilinsky, John Colwell and Megan Jones all qualified from the Walden Irish Cadet Corps #2964, while Destiny Gratton qualified from the Sudbury Army Cadet Corps #2912.

The skiers will compete in the 4x1.5-kilometre races, team relay races and the patrol race.
