Here's a quick look at action from Cambrian
College varsity sports last weekend.
In women's fastball, Cambrian lost both of
their games to Durham College, dropping 15-4 and 4-0
games.
In cross-country running, the women's team
won gold at the St. Lawrence Invitational Race. Amanda Kosmerly
won gold in the women's five-kilometre race. The men's team
finished fourth overall.
In soccer, the women's squad defeated
Conestoga college 2-0 with Krista Zanatta scoring both goals.
The men lost 4-1 to Conestoga, with John Canning scoring the
lone goal.
Cambrian's next games are Saturday, Oct. 15
against Sheridan College. The men play at 1 pm, while the women
play at 11 am at the Cambrian field.
