To celebrate College Boreal's 10th
anniversary, La Foundation du College Boreal has created a
truly unique event. On Sept. 24, La Foundation will host six
simultaneous golf tournaments in six cities.
The tournaments will take place in Hearst,
Kapuskasing, New Liskeard, Sudbury, Timmins and West Nipissing
- one in each of the six Northern Ontario centres where Boreal
has satellite campuses. The events are expected to draw more
than 700 golfers. Profits from tournaments will be matched
dollar for dollar by the Ontario Student Opportunity Trust Fund
and invested perpetually. The interest generated from the fund
will be awarded annually to Boreal learners.
The Sudbury portion of the event will be held
at Forest Ridge Golf and Country Club. For more information or
