The Kal Tire Sudbury Jr. Wolves hockey club has announced that Tom Faganely has stepped down as head coach and will be replaced by Darryl Moxam.

Faganely resigned from his position for personal reasons, deciding to give someone else the chance to lead the team for the rest of the season.

Moxam returns to the head coaching position he held last season when he led the Jr. Wolves to the NOJHL Championship and within a goal of winning the Dudley Hewitt Cup. Moxam also led the team to its best season in franchise history with a 36-11-0-1 record and 73 points in 2005/06.

Moxam will make his return Jan. 3 when the Jr. Wolves host the Blind River Beavers at the McClelland Arena in Copper Cliff. Game time is 7:30 pm.
