The Sudbury Five let a five-point fourth quarter lead get away from them on Wednesday night in Windsor.

The Windsor Express rallied to drop 36 points on the Five in the final quarter of Wednesday's game to take a 119-114 victory to stay a step ahead of the Five in the NBL Canada Central Division.

It was a tale of two games in a sense, as the Five dominated the two middle quarters of the game, while the Express commanded the game in the bookends, outscoring the Five by 15 points in the first and fourth quarters combined.

Windsor jumped out to a 38-33 lead in quarter number one, before the five answered back to outscore the Express by five in the second, taking the game into halftime at a knotted score of 60-60.

The Five continued to push in the third quarter, opening up a lead of 88-83 as the teams went into the fourth. It was Windsor that had more gas in the tank to finish the game, putting up 36 points to the Five's 26 in the last quarter and taking the win.

Windsor improved their record to 15-12, while the Five droppe to 15-14.

Five guard Braylon Rayson continued his torrid scoring pace as the league's leading scorer, knocking down seven three-pointers on the night and dropping 29 points total. Travis Releford provided some supplementary scoring with 21 points.

Windsor used a balanced attack to take the win, with three players eclipsing the 20 point mark. Chris Jones led the way with 26 points, Ryan Anderson knocked in 24, anmd DeAndre Thomas made the most of his 25 minutes off the bench, pitching in with 22 points.

The Five will be in London Saturday night to take on the London Lightning. Tip off is set for 7 p.m.
