Five fall 120-107 on the road in London

Duane Notice came up big for the Sudbury Five, scoring 27 points in the tems 120-107 loss to the London Lightning at March 5.

The Sudbury Five’s Tuesday road trip to London ended in a 120-107 loss to the Lightning. 

The game started off closely contested with the first quarter ending in a very narrow score of 25-24, with London holding a slim lead. 

Sudbury came back in the second quarter to score 36 points, with contributions from Duane Notice, who led the Five with 27 points in the game, and Raymar Morgan, who scored 13. 

At halftime, the Five were up by a score of 60-56.

The Lightning came back in the third in a big way, and by the end of the quarter held a 90-86 lead. 

London came up huge in the fourth and final quarter, scoring 34 points while holding the Five to just 23, and came away with the victory 120-107 over Sudbury. 

After the loss, the Sudbury Five now hold a record of 11 wins and eight losses on the season.

The Sudbury Five next take the court March 16 at home against the Derby City Distillers with tip off scheduled for 7 p.m.
