The Sudbury Wolves moved into a tie for sixth
place in the Eastern Conference Wednesday with a 5-2 win over
the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
Nick Foligno led the charge for the Wolves
(27-23-1-4) with two goals while Kevin Baker, Jonathan
D'Aversa and Akim Aliu also scored.
The Greyhounds jumped on the Wolves early in
the game, taking a 2-1 lead into the first intermission.
Foligno tied the game in the second with his 21st goal of the

puck out of the Sudbury net.
Beech was the difference as the Wolves were

victory with three third period goals. Foligno scored his 22nd
of the year with a few minutes left in the third to put the
game out of reach.

in favour of the Greyhounds (22-28-3-3).
The Wolves are now in a sixth place tie with
the Belleville Bulls and return home to face the Barrie Colts
Friday. Game time is 7:30 pm.
