Wrestlers from École secondaire du Sacré-Coeur stood tall above the wrestling mats during the recently held Sudbury District Secondary Schools (SDSSAA) Wrestling Championship held on Feb. 13.

The school's three athetes displayed great skills and competed as champions. As a result, Quade Howald, Kaylee Daoust and Frank Shue Atoh all qualified for the Northern Ontario (NOSSA) championship which will take place on Feb. 16 in Sudbury.

Quade Howald is a grade 12 athlete and gold medal winner, as well as the school's senior athlete of the year.

Kaylee Daoust is in grade 10 and is a silver medal winner and rookie of the year. Frank Shue Atoh is in grade 11, and is also a gold medal winner.

The Griffons from Sacré-Ceur are coached by Patrick Wissell, teacher at École secondaire du Sacré-Coeur, and Jesse Hotson, volunteer with the Sacré-Coeur and Collège Notre-Dame teams. The Griffons had won The Boot Tournament earlier this year.
