It's a busy time of year for high school athletes.

Here's a look at some of the results from recent city championship events:

Basketball

Midget Boys - Lo-Ellen (45) Lockerby (41)
The playoff title represented Lo-Ellen's first since 2002 and only the third in the history of the league dating back to 1961. Kevin Wiseman led the scoring for Lo-Ellen with 10 points. Lockerby's top scorer was Justin Smal with 11 points.

Junior Boys Division II - Macdonald Cartier (45) Champlain (40)
Third place Macdonald Cartier, with 6-4 record, upset the regular season champs who lost one game all season. It is the Pantheres' second title in four years.

Senior Boys Division II - Chelmsford (54) Macdonald Cartier (34)
The regular season champs claimed their first playoff title since 1989. The Flyers now advance to NOSSA Senior "A" in Sturgeon Falls this weekend.

Junior Boys Division I - Lasalle (55) L'Horizon (39)
Both teams were tied in the regular season with 12-2 records but Lasalle won their fourth consecutive junior playoff title. Mike Price of Lasalle and Chris Chaput of L'Horizon led all scorers with 12 points apiece.

Senior Boys Division I - Lasalle (68) Lo-Ellen Park (55)
The Lancers capped off a perfect season, collecting their sixth consecutive banner. The senior Lancers and their junior counterparts will advance to NOSSA "AAA" Basketball in Sault Ste. Marie this weekend. Despite the loss, the Lo-Ellen juniors and seniors have qualified for the NOSSA "AA" Basketball Championships, also in Sault Ste. Marie this weekend.

Volleyball

Midget - Lockerby (3) Lo-Ellen (2)
The 5-2 Knights made it closer than many would have predicted, but in the end the regular season champion Vikings took home the banner. The title is Lockerby's second in five years.

Junior Division II - Chelmsford (3) L'Horizon (0)
Both teams had 7-1 records after regular season play, but the Flyers reigned supreme in the final to collect their first ever Junior Division II title. L'Horizon will now challenge Marymount for the right to represent SDSSAA at NOSSA "A" in North Bay this weekend.

Senior Division II - L'Horizon (3) Sacré-Coeur (2)
L'Horizon knocked off the undefeated regular season champs to collect their first ever senior division II title.

Junior Division I - Lockerby (3) St Benedict (0)
The 5-2 Vikings defeated the 6-3 Bears to collect their first junior playoff title since 2002. The Vikings will now advance to NOSSA "AAA" hosted by Lasalle this weekend.

Senior Division I - Lo-Ellen Park (3) Marymount (1)
The Knights posted an upset victory over the Regals to collect their fifth senior title in seven years.
Lo-Ellen will now advance to the NOSSA "AA" championship this weekend at Lo-Ellen and College Notre-Dame.

Hockey

Boys Division I - semi finals, best-of-three series.

Game One - Lasalle (5) Notre-Dame (4)
Game Two - Lasalle (7) Notre-Dame (6) - OT

Game One - St. Charles (4) Lockerby (3) - Double OT
Game Two - Lockerby (2) St. Charles (1)
Game Three - St. Charles (5) Lockerby (4) - Double OT

The best-of-five final series between St. Charles and Lasalle starts Feb. 23 at 7:30 pm at Carmichael Arena. Game Two will be played Feb. 24 at 6:30 pm at Carmichael Arena. The series will shift to Countryside Arena for Game Three Feb. 27 at 7:30 pm. If needed, Games Four and Five will be played March 2 (7 pm) and 3 (6:30 pm) at Carmichael Arena.
