CNW-McDonald's Restaurants of Canada Limited, the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players' Association announced a new program that will allow 12 young hockey players to join an NHL(R) All-Star player on-ice during the singing of the national anthems at the 2007 NHL(R) All-Star Game in Dallas, Texas on Jan. 24.

. The young hockey players must be between the ages of 7 and
12, residents of Canada, registered in a recognized Hockey
Canada program or league and able to ice skate.
Twelve regional winners, one from each province and two from
the territories, will be randomly selected to fly with their
child to Dallas, Texas for the 2007 NHL(R) All-Star Game
festivities. The 12 winners' children will have the opportunity
to step onto the ice and join the NHL All Stars during player
introductions at the opening ceremonies, and stand with their
heroes during the singing of the national anthems.
Each of the 12 children (along with their parent or guardian)
will also receive:
-  Round-trip airfare
-  Three nights hotel and ground transfers
-  Official Player escort uniform for the children
-  Two tickets each to the NHL Super Skills event
-  Two tickets to the Young Stars Game
-  Two tickets to the NHL All-Star Game - the children
will participate on-ice during the singing of the national
anthems
-  MasterCard will be providing the winners with $1,000
spending money for their trip to Dallas.
