The Cambrian Foundation is hosting a fundraising dinner on March 4, which will enable guests to mingle with legendary NHL goaltenders Johnny "The China Wall" Bower, Tony "Tony O" Esposito, Glenn "Chico" Resch, Bernard "Bernie" Parent, and hometown hero, Edward "Fast Eddie" Giacomin.

Proceeds from the event will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, by the Province of Ontario's Student Opportunity Trust Fund II (OSOTF) and will be used to create a permanent bursary endowment. Each year, the interest portion of this investment will be awarded to deserving students attending Cambrian College.

Last year, legendary Maple Leafs players Darryl Sittler, Tiger Williams, Wendel Clark, and Gary Leeman helped raise over $20,000. With OSOTF's contributions that number jumped to over $40,000.

Ticket prices (including gourmet dinner) are $125 for a single ticket and $1,000 for a table of eight. The evening kicks off at 6 pm with cocktails and dinner at 7 pm at the Walter Curlook Heritage Ballroom at the Cambrian Foundation on Frood Road.

For additional information and tickets, phone the Cambrian Foundation at 673-2900.
