Kristine Lalonde has earned another opportunity at Canada Basketball's top development program.
Lalonde, 13, has been selected to be part of Canada Basketball's 2005-06 Centre for Performance Ontario Program.

This is the second consecutive year Lalonde was selected to participate in the prestigious program.

Lalonde has reached incredible heights over the last year, which peaked when she helped Team Ontario win a national midget championship in August.

The centre is a National Identification Program where only 30 athletes, ages 12-18, are selected from each province. There are five centres in Canada.

The program creates a clear pathway for outstanding developmental athletes to be systematically identified, developed, trained and monitored with standardized national team curriculum.

Lalonde will travel to Toronto five times over the next year to attend the centre and have extra conditioning, weight training, log books, and basketball homework as part of this program.
