The Toronto Maple Leafs will honour Joe Bowen, a former Sudbury Wolves announcer who has been the voice of the Leafs for over 25 years, at tonights season opening game against the Ottawa Senators at the ACC.
Considered to be one of the best play-by-play guys in hockey, Bowen has been bellowing through leafs games since the early 80's.
Bowen was born and raised in Sudbury.
