The Laurentian Voyageurs men's lacrosse team lost to the McMaster Marauders 13-3, Sunday afternoon.

Casey Swann scored all three goals for the Voyageurs, with Mike Holder assisting on the final one. Jarrod Copland played a good game standing between the pipes for the Voyageurs.

Both teams battled hard, but McMaster was just too much for the Voyageurs squad. Laurentian had very few penalties on the day and Swann (Peterborough, Ont.) added another three goals to his team leading 12 for the season. The Voyageurs are without a win this season, but are looking even better each game and know that first win is just around the corner.

The Voyageurs will be back in action in two weeks, after much needed break for Thanksgiving. They look to face the CUFLA west divisions second place team, the Guelph Gryphons on the road, in another weekend double header. The first game will be played on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 2 p.m. The following game will be played on Sunday and is scheduled for 1 p.m.
