Northern Ontario doing well at Brier

"It feels nice, real nice," said Phillips, who was the northern Ontario flag-bearer two years ago in Saskatoon.

"I'm making probably about 20 per cent more of my shots," he says. "I'm playing a more patient game, something I've learned being at the Brier and watching some of the past champs.

"It's a long week and I'm sure we're gonna get a few losses along the way," said the 37-year-old bartender. For more information, visit www.curling.ca
