- Olympic Trials: Winners represent Canada at the Turino Olympics, daily afternoon and evening, Dec. 3-9 (TSN)

- Finals CBC: Ladies Saturday, Men's Sunday Karcher Canadian Juniors- Jan. 21 to 29, winners to World Championships.

- Finals CBC: Women, Saturday, noon, Jan. 28, Men, Sunday, Jan. 29.

- Straus Canada Cup: Jan. 31 to Feb. 5 Finals CBC: Women noon, Saturday, Feb. 4; Men noon,Sunday, Feb. 5.

- CBC: Olympics in Torino, Italy, Feb. 10- 26. Curling runs from Feb. 13 to 24. (Watch for CBC official schedule) Women finals, Feb. 23; Men finals, Feb. 24.

- TSN: Scott Tournament of Hearts- Feb. 25 to March 3, Winning team goes to World Championships. Semi-finals will air Saturday, March 4 at 1 pm;
Finals 12:30 pm, March 5 at 12:30 pm.

- TSN: Tim Horton Brier- March 11 to 19; Winning team goes to World Championships, Semi-finals, March 18 at 1 pm, finals, March 19 at 7 pm.

- TSN: Ford World's Women, March 18-26; Semi-finals, March 26 at 11:30 am; Finals March 26 at 12:30 pm.

- CBC: Men's Worlds, (Lowell, Massachusetts)- April 1 - 9; Semi-finals March 8 at 2 pm; Finals March 9 at 12:30 pm.
