The Copper Cliff Redmen minor midget team is holding try
outs on Sept. 4 at the Copper Cliff Arena from 8:30 to 10 am
and 8 to 9:30 pm.
The squad will play in the Nickel District AA midget league
for the 2006-07 season. The team will also compete in four to
five AAA minor midget tournaments in southern Ontario this
season.
Last season, the team played its first year and had two
players drafted by OHL franchises.
Anyone interested in trying out for the team can show up at the try out times or call coach Rick Kirkwood at 682-9535.
Sudbury players require a release from their current club.
