SudburyÂ?s Andrew Ellerton is showing the world heÂ?s one of the best young runners on the planet.

At the World Junior Track and Field Championships in Jamaica, Ellerton last week qualified for the semifinals in his specialty, the 800 metres. Ellerton will be up against the worldÂ?s top competitors in semi-final action this weekend.
Ellerton, 18, attends Confederation Secondary School. HeÂ?s received numerous scholarship offers to large American universities and more offers are sure to pour in considering his outstanding performance at the world championships.
