The Sudbury Skating Club is hosting the 2006
BMO Financial Group Sectional Championships Skate Canada
Northern Ontario this weekend. The event will be held at
Countryside Arena today and Saturday.
About 100 skaters from across Northern
Ontario will be competing to qualify for the Western Canadian
Championships and Ontario Winter Games. The event covers all
levels, from pre-juvenile to senior. Competitions run from 1 to
9:05 pm tonight, and from noon to 8:40 pm Saturday.
