The Copper Cliff Ice Angels are holding
tryouts for the team this week on Wednesday, Aug. 31 and
Thursday, Sept. 1.

The Aug. 31 tryout will be held at the
McClelland Arena from 7 to 9 pm. The Sept. 1 tryout will be
held at Countryside Arena from 8:30 to 10 pm.
Interested skaters should be at least 16
years of age and have one Junior/Silver Skate Canada
test.
The Angels competed at three events held out
of town, and skated away with a third place finish at one of
them.
The Angels also participated at the
Celebration on Ice show and performed at many local events
including Sudbury WolvesÂ' games and winter carnivals.
The Angels also helped the community by
initiating their own Christmas food drive, and volunteered
their time at the Sudbury Regional Hospital Rehabilitation Unit
and the Elgin Street Mission.
