The Sudbury Spartans have named long-time St.
Charles College Cardinals head coach Chris Bartolucci, as the
team's new coach for the upcoming season.
The announcement was made Feb. 5 at the
Spartans' annual award banquet .
Bartolucci, who has enjoyed considerable
success with the Cardinals, has his work cut out for him and
takes over a team that went 0-8 during the 2005 season and was
outscored 340-58.
Bartolucci takes over the head coaching
position from Rick Firth, who started the season with the
Spartans but stepped away late in the season for personal
reasons.
