The Sudbury Five has signed shooting-guard Jeremy Harri for the upcoming 2022 season.

Jeremy Harris is a 6’7” American professional basketball player from Greensboro, North Carolina. He attended and played NCAA basketball at Gulf Coast State before transferring to the University of Buffalo. In the 2018-2019 season, his senior year at UB, he averaged 14 points, six rebounds and three assists while also earning his second All-Conference team selection. He was also named MVP of the MAC conference tournament that same season. He most recently played with Boras Basket in Sweden’s professional basketball league, the Basketligan, in the 2020-2021 season.

“Well, the roster is rounding into form, being able to add a piece like Jeremy is perfect for where we are and what we need this season,” said Sudbury Five head coach and general manager Elliott Etherington.

“He’ll be an excellent addition to our team, and I really believe he fits our culture, full of high-character individuals. In our discussions amongst our coaching staff, we think that he has the versatility to make an impact in the league. We can’t wait to get out there and put on a show for the fans on Feb. 5.”

Fans will get their first chance to see Harris in action when the Five hit the court at the Sudbury Arena on Feb. 5. Fans can secure their season memberships now online at thefive.ca or by emailing [email protected].
