With upcoming weekend games versus the London Knights and the Brampton Battalion, the Wolves need a strong performance against the Spitfires and will be counting on newly acquired winger Justin Allen to carry some of the load.

Allen was acquired from the Owen Sound Attack on Dec. 13 in exchange for a conditional tenth round draft pick in 2006. Since Allen is an overaged player, the Wolves were forced to ship overaged winger Alex Eaton to the Barrie Colts.

Allen had a goal and five points and 64 penalty minutes in 30 games this season with the Oshawa Generals and the Owen Sound Attack and brings obvious size and muscle to the lineup.

The Spitfires (10-18-2-2), are also losers of three straight, are coming into the game as one of the league's weakest defensive teams with 143 goals against this season, second only to the Oshawa's 167 goals against.
