The Walden Mountain Bike Club’s WolfPak Racing/Inception Cyclery Team stayed on the podium again May 15 at the Scott Ontario Cup XC Series event near Collingwood.

WolkPak racers endured snow and muddy conditions for this installment of the series, but managed to extend the team’s podium finishes into the second race of the season.

Alex Anstice made it two straight podium trips by coming in third in the Master Expert 30-39 Male field, finishing with a time of 1:19:02.

In the Senior Elite 19+  Male race, newcomer Dave Kalver posted a 15th place result in 1:45:21. Eddie Skala was forced to withdraw with a mechanical issue. Paul Guenette did not make the trip with the WolfPak for the event.

Next up, the team switches gears and travels to Horseshoe Valley Resort for the Canada Cup on June 5. Ontario hosts two Canada Cup events this year — the first at Horseshoe Valley, the second at Hardwood Hills in Barrie on June 12.
