The Sudbury Wolves return to action at home this Saturday night when they host the Peterborough Petes at 7:05 p.m. for the annual Sudbury Saturday Night, marking the Pack's first Saturday home game of the season.

The Wolves continue to lead the Central division with nine wins and seven losses, just one point ahead of the Barrie Colts. Quinton Byfield continues to lead the Pack in offense with 31 points on the season and remains among the top in the OHL in scoring.

The Peterborough Petes come into town with two of the hottest players in the league and was an honourable mention in this week’s CHL top 10. 

Maple Leafs prospects Nick Robertson and Semyon DerArguchintsev have been dominant so far this season, with both of them in the top 10 in OHL scoring.

Goaltender Hunter Jones (Minnesota Wild) has a blistering 10-1 record and is also second in save percentage (.920) and GAA (2.46).

Special guests, The River Town Saints will perform on the MIC Queen Stage prior to the game and during both intermissions. River Town Saints are a Canadian country band with frequent radio play and hits such as Cherry Bomb, Bonfire and Woke Up Like This. 

Fans are encouraged to come down early as they will take the stage pre-game from 6-6:30 p.m. and 6:50-7 p.m.

The Wolves will also partner with Topper’s Pizza for the game. Nov. 2 will feature Topper’s Meatball Crustano and a fountain drink for $10. 

This will be available in the club area behind Section 15 as well as in the lower lobby beside the Official Team Shop.

Saturday’s game is sponsored by Enercare who will be on hand with prizes and giveaways for lucky fans.

Three lucky fans will have the chance to walk away with great prizes during the second intermission shootout.

Just prior to Saturday’s game, the Wolves will play a rare Friday night road game in North Bay at 7:05 p.m.
