Wolves beat Fronts' 3-2

The Sudbury Wolves put forth a gentleman's effort on Ladies Night Tuesday, topping the Kingston Frontenacs 3-2 while playing short-handed just four times the entire game.

The Sudbury Wolves put forth a gentleman's effort on Ladies Night Tuesday, topping the Kingston Frontenacs 3-2 while playing short-handed just four times the entire game.

The Wolves have now won three in a row, their longest streak of the young season, and have jumped into third place in the Central Division. The Fronts meanwhile, lost their seventh in a row.

Jesse Messier (power play), Kevin Baker (short-handed) and Devin DiDiomete all scored for the Wolves while Kevin Beech was in net for the win.

The Wolves will look to win their fourth straight game Friday (Oct. 27) when the Barrie Colts come to town. Game time is 7:30 pm.
