Wolves beat Peterborough 3-2

A sold out crowd of over 5700 fans watched the Wolves win their second game of the weekend with a 3-2 shoot-out victory over the Peterborough Petes. Peterborough scored first with a goal from Justin Soryal.

A sold out crowd of over 5700 fans watched the Wolves win their second game of the weekend with a 3-2 shoot-out victory over the Peterborough Petes.

Peterborough scored first with a goal from Justin Soryal. Sudbury's Justin Donati answered back less than three minutes later to tie the game. Donati would give the Wolves the lead in the second with his 40th goal of the season on the power play. The Petes tied the game at the end of the second on Jack Watchesson's first OHL goal.

After a scoreless third period and overtime, the game went to a shootout. The first seven shooters were all stopped before Akim Aliu scored to secure the win for Sudbury.
