Justin Donati made a great first impression on his new hometown fans as he scored twice and added an assist to lead the Wolves to a 6-2 victory over the St. Mike's Majors.
The Majors jumped out to an early lead with Matt Caria's 27th
of the year less than two minutes into the game. Sudbury's Adam
McQuaid scored near the end of the period.
In the second period, Donati notched a power play and short handed goal within three minutes of each other to give the Wolves a 3-1 lead. McQuaid's second of the game made it 4-1 Wolves.
In the third, the Wolves continued the scoring frenzy when the Wolves' newest defenseman Zach McCullough scored his 6th of the year. Patrik Lusnak would score just 23 seconds later. The Majors' Matt McCready scored late to round out the scoring.
