The Wolves entertain the Barrie Colts tonight at the Sudbury Arena in a classic Central Division showdown. Game time is 7:30 pm.

Bitter foes since Barrie's 1995-96 inception, the game promises to be another heated battle as both teams are scrapping it out for first place in the division.

The season series is deadlocked so far, with both teams inflicting punishing losses on one another (Barrie took the first meeting 9-3, while Sudbury won the second meeting 7-1).

"I expect Barrie to play their best game of the year against us," said Wolves head coach and GM Mike Foligno. "We will have to counter with our best game of the year. It's our only game of the weekend, so we are coming out to give it our all. We're going to leave everything out on the ice."

The Wolves are 7-3 in their last 10 games and coming off an impressive three-wins-in-three-nights road trip last weekend, confidence is soaring amongst the troops.

Foligno wants continued exceptional play from his top players, including Ben Pouliot (six goals and eight points in the three wins), Marc Staal (six points in the three wins) and Kevin Baker (four goals in the three wins).

"If we're going to be successful then our best players have to play their best, and not once in a while - every game. Consistency is key for us. We're also getting contributions from everyone."
